Case study · Recruiting
How a recruiting agency got 88 interviews from one application desk
2,219jobs sourced
47%refused before anyone applied
771tailored resumes and cover letters
88interviews
The problem
The agency's sourcers found jobs and its appliers applied to them for each candidate. The work ran on spreadsheets and chat. Two appliers sometimes worked the same job for the same candidate, nearly half the jobs that came in were onsite, stale or duplicates, and interviews got lost in long threads.
What we built
Corda Flow, one desk for the whole team, with a view for sourcers, appliers, managers and the owner.
- Refused at the door: onsite, hybrid, older than 15 days, duplicate and non-English postings are turned away when a sourcer adds them, with the reason shown.
- Job locks: each applier locks up to ten jobs, so nobody else can apply to the same job for the same candidate.
- Tailored documents: every application gets a resume and cover letter written by AI from the candidate's base resume against that job's full description. A person checks it before it goes out.
- Interview CRM: one lead per job, with each round inside it and who acts next.
- Reports: jobs sourced, applications sent, mistakes and pay, by person, candidate and day.
The results
Over the first run, sourcers added 2,219 jobs. The desk refused 47% of them before anyone spent time on them, so appliers only worked jobs worth sending. 771 tailored resumes and cover letters went out, and those applications turned into 88 interviews, each one tracked round by round in the CRM.
What made the difference
- Refusing bad jobs early saved more time than anything else.
- Locks ended duplicate applications, so no recruiter saw a candidate twice.
- One set of reports meant everyone could see the quality of their own work.
